Hello! I'm in need of dire help...

Really like the look and feel of this distro got fed up with linux trying to be the new WINDOWS so I migrated to Descent OS so far so good. Managed to install latest version of Firefox, removed chromium, and installed my favourite Super Nintendo emulator. The thing is, I can't find it anywhere. I'm rather confused. I downloaded the emu via Synaptic, could anyone help me where to find it? Would really appreciate it much.

forget it un-installed it and got ZSNES instead, works like a charm!

It's good that your problem has been fixed, but I think with Snes9x (what I think you installed the first time) you have to install the gtk frontend to be able to find it in the menu, otherwise it's a console based emulator (like mednafen)

Thanks for the advice though! Really appreciate it. I'm loving this OS. It's the best one out there. I'm just kind of sad that last time I checked it wasn't in the distrowatch list ):

Yeah, it's on the waiting list. Dunno how long I'll be stuck on there though, but all I can do is concentrate on making the new version right now.
