Hi,

The characteristics of this os, are great.

Why there is no x86_64 DescentJos version?

Because I didn't have the hardware at the time, but I do now, so I'm working on it for version 4. The ubuntu based versions won't get a 64-bit port.

Descent|OS 4 will be supported on x86, x86_64, and powerpc, so there's a lot to look forward to come April.
