Distro 3.0.2 Install Problem

Hi,

I am very interested in test-driving your new distro but, I am having a problem running the Live CD.

Boot begins without incident until it gets to the step where the battery status is checked.

The install will not advance any farther.

I have tried the install (Live CD) with/without my laptop battery installed but, it doesn't seem to make any difference in the result.

I have downloaded and installed (Live CD Versions) of several other distros and have not run into this problem until today.

Any suggestions...........and..........thanks in advance

What kind of laptop do you have? I need a bit more information than just the problem, thanks.

Sorry about that..................that probably "would" make things easier..........wouldn't it...

I am using a Thinkpad Z60t w/120GB HD / 1.5GB Memory / Pentium 1.73GHz

I am currently running Pear Linux 6.1.

I also had Microsoft WinXP-Pro SP3 running on a dual boot but, because I rarely used the XP, got rid of it so now Pear is the only OS on the HD.

Let me know if I've left anything out and..........thanks for your assistance
